Rebecca M. Eimerman
Rebecca Eimerman earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude. While in law school, she served on the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review and worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Robert W. Freese in Hendricks Superior Court No. 1.
After graduation, Rebecca continued her service to Hendricks County as a Master Commissioner and appointed judicial officer. She later worked as an associate attorney at Mitchell and Associates (now Mitchell Law Group) before founding Eimerman Law.
Rebecca focuses on family law, criminal defense, bankruptcy, and immigration. She is committed to helping clients through difficult times with skill, compassion, and strong advocacy. Her dedication led her to earn certification as a Family Law Specialist and complete advanced training in mediation and parenting coordination.
PARENTING COORDINATOR:
Co-parenting after separation can be challenging. Parents must still work together to make important decisions for their children—yet disagreements often arise.
As a parenting coordinator, Rebecca helps parents manage conflict and reach agreements in the best interests of their children. Depending on the court’s order, she may monitor communication, recommend solutions, or even make decisions. This process reduces stress, saves time, and often lessens the time spent in court.
GUARDIAN AD LITEM:
In custody and parenting time disputes, the court may appoint a Guardian ad Litem (GAL) to investigate and recommend what is best for the child.
A GAL reviews living arrangements, parenting behaviors, and the child’s needs. After a thorough investigation, the GAL provides a written report to the judge with recommendations on custody and parenting time. These recommendations carry significant weight in the court’s decision-making process.
